New to the group and thankful for all the info here!

Curious if anyone has pictures of stock Off Road rims with 245/75/16 tires? I recently purchased a new SR and am a big fan of all the things about it except the steel wheels.

Wt not offroad tires, and beef up the shocks? SR is inexpensive enough to leave you many many many thousands of $$$ to modify. :spending:

Seriously, welcome. But you must watch out for all of the advice to spend your spare $$$.

While I like the idea of going with more beef, I've got brand new tires on the steels that I'd like to just swap over and save the $$$. Just want to make sure it doesn't look too odd.

No experience with this, so others may shoot me down quickly, but ...

If I was not confined by choosing a Tacoma-purchase option, then go to a tire store and try anything that seems good. I expect they would let you prop the new options up against the truck (under supervision) so you can take pictures and mull over the options.

But that is the opinion of a newbie ...

Posting for the benefit of others:

    1) 245/75/16 look great on the OR rims imo.

    2) You will need to get new tpms if you have steel wheels, added cost but worth it.

Completely changes the look of the truck in a very positive way!

FYI - I went from steels to Methods and used the same TPMS. They have worked fine for 6 months.
