Well I purchased my new triumph bonneville T120 back in January. Michigan weather has sucked, it's either super cold, snowing, or the roads are covered in salt. But today I trailered the bike home.
Got her loaded up at the dealer, 28 degrees and the wind was howling.
    20230318_144654.jpg
Right after I finished strapping it down a snow squall blew in, see the snow on the straps?
    20230318_144708.jpg 20230318_144716.jpg 20230318_144724.jpg
I really do think it's a beautiful modern classic.
    20230318_144734.jpg
Got her home and in the driveway.

these are some aluminum extrusions that I use for ramps. I used one for the bike and one for me to walk down, worked like a charm.
    20230318_154442.jpg
I got her tucked into the garage and plugged into the battery tender. Now just waiting for some warmer weather to get a coat of wax on it and some ride time.

I’ve always had a fondness for these retro triumphs. It’s was ingrained in me at a young age. My dad was a huge Steve McQueen fan and the scrambler he jumped in The Great Escape always made me want one.

Piddly stuff. Finally got the tail tidy on yesterday. Shoulda went for a ride instead. But is, what it was.

Also ran the pigtail that was tucked in above the battery, down below. and zip tied for easy access. Plugged is the solar trickle charger for shits and giggles.

Put the rear reflectors back on too. Not sure if I’m gonna keep them or not. Did reroute the overflow tube in there as well.

I'm excited to see how this bike does. I hope it does well and forces the Japanese brands to produce something like it.

one of the best mods i did was the DRC tail light upgrade board that integrated the signals. no more snapping off rear signals.

I also gotta cut off that helmet lock, damn thing hasnt worked for years. Went to lock a helmet on it and the lock cylinder was frozen and almost snapped off the key. That and I cant justify leaving a $500 helmet with Sena bluetooth on it hanging off the side of my bike for someone to mess with or for the bike to fall over onto lol. So it can get cut off and be added into the weight savings column

i loathe bikes that integrate the farings and the headlight allowing the bars to turn independently and the headlight to only stare straight forward, it aint a sport bike lol

I LOVE how triumph made the throttle bodies look like old carbs, they really did a great job with that bike.
