I have a 2022 Tacoma and for some reason I can barely hear the in-coming caller.I have tried to adjust all the volumes that I can find with no luck.I have an Apple phone that is connected.Does anyone else have these volume issues?

I struggled with this at first, but I started plugging my phone in and using Apple CarPlay, and now I hear incoming calls load and clear. I actually have to turn the volume down.

    That's interesting...

I've never messed with the volume on the AppleCarPlay (ACP) in my truck & my iPhone...it seems to be preset at just the right volume.

I'm sure you can get to the ACP dash settings and poke around to find it.

What kind of string are you using?
I heard fiber optics string carries voice better with 0 degradation...and dont forget to use 64oz cans gives a lot more bass!Just place them over front speaker and mount other end over head in rear seat!

CarPlay volume isn't adjustable from the phone, just the head unit. when you are connected via bluetooth, theres a volume control on the phone and the head unit.

    Good to know.

I've not had to mess with it.

Under settings/phone...my sound is set to 4.

Given, I have my phone synced to AppleCarPlay and my phone was with me (not in conversation with anyone) so the unit recognizes it.

I did not try the settings without my phone in the truck...to verify the sound can be adjusted without the phone.
