My truck sits 1-3/4” higher in the rear than the front measuring from ground to fender wells. I bought a 1-1/2” leveling kit (spacer) and put it on the strut and puting the strut back in I get the bolts all started but the angle of the upper control arm is way too steep and touching my strut spring. I’m wondering if the struts are leveling struts already and for some reason my rears higher like different leafs or something. Any input. The guy before me put new struts in but didn’t say it was leveled and didn’t know much about what he was talking about.

    4 run, 2 don't
You have coilovers in the front of your vehicle, not struts.

Standard length shocks for the front are 18.41" extended, 13.7" compressed.

With that said, shocks do not lift your vehicle and this applies to both the front and rear.

Your rear may have; aftermarket leaf pack, aftermarket shackles, or blocks. Or they could just be a brand new OEM equivalent pack that haven't settled down yet in combination with bad front coilovers.

For your fronts, the coil itself is what will provide lift and depending on the spring rate, could result in what is possibly a harsher ride as well.

Ditch the spacers and any blocks, and get rid of those crappy coilovers.

By the way, some rake is absolutely normal for this and any other truck in the market. It's to make up for the potential of any payload.
