Selling my place holder-shocks. As stated in the title they are 2.0 diameter, 14” stroke shocks (21.5" collapsed, 35.25" extended). They fit the archive garage rear relocation towers as seen below. As far as condition goes, they are in need of a rebuild and perhaps a revalve depending on how you want to use them. I can arrange to have them rebuilt on the buyers dime by DC shock services in San Dimas if needed.

    Sold

Would DC shock services ship them if you dropped them off for a rebuild?

They probably can, but same as if I was shipping them, it adds cost.

where are you located? it might be cheaper if I can ship them un-charged.

I can ship them, but I'm going to let local leads pan out first. I haven't called DC yet to confirm their rate on a pair of smoothies, but rebuild + shipping + price of shocks is looking around the $450 range. Could be a little less or a little more. Still a decent deal for ready to run shocks. Fox 2.0x14 RRs from accutune is $669.90 for a pair before tax and shipping.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how is "21.5" collapsed, 31.25" extended" a 14" stroke?

There’s a rubber bump on the shock. Shafts have 14” of travel but the last bit of travel is taken up by that bump. When you set them up, you wouldn’t want to use that last bit of travel anyway because of frame flex, and risking bottoming out the shock.

Ok, but there's not a 4" rubber bump right? 31.25 extended - 21.5 collapsed = 9.75" stroke. Not sure if this is the same part number as what you are selling, but these fox 2.0x14 smoothies have an extended length of 35.1", and collapsed at 21.1, for an actual 14" stroke... https://www.ridefox.com/product.php?m=offroad&t=shocks&partnumber=980-02-035

You’re correct, I had a typo in my post. Idk why I wrote 31 instead of 35. Working nights sucks.

I can ship at buyers expense. Size and weight of package with the shocks depressurized is around $60 by estimation.
