That’s an awesome write up, I really appreciate you taking the time to post that. I’ve been planning on buying the 5100’s probably by the end of this year. I just have to pay for some house renovation stuff first (sigh).

I don’t do any crazy wheeling so I’m thinking those are all I need.

beautiful!:D That’s the look I’m going after and I’m not going to take it off roading at all. I have a first gen for that. Should be fine for what I’m looking for.

very nice. Looks like you wheel a little too. That’s cool! And the 1” spacer up front. I like the way your truck looks. 2 more questions. Did you add the 1/2” shim because of the shell to lift up the rear a little more? And what are your wheel specs?

Yeah I take it off road a good bit! Nothing crazy but enough to get out in nature.

Yeah I suspect without the shell, I wouldn’t need the shim to keep it level.

My wheels are 16x8 Black Rhino Stadiums with a -10mm offset.

sweet. So I think the spacer and the aal will be sufficient for me. I’m also looking at scs stealth runner 8 model wheels in 16x8 -10 also!

Nice! I’m considering switching to 17” wheels just because there are so many more tire options. Won’t be for a while though

yeah there is! I think that 265/75/16 fills up the wheel well quite nice and looks good.

I agree with everything he said!

Imo it's the best of both worlds, tightens up the handling (for my OR anyways) but also reduced the harshness.

I need assistance.. I'm getting ready to install Full ARB .. struts shocks lift coils and new complete rear leaf springs. It's costing me about $2000 plus alignment included. Is this a smart lift? I have an TRD 4x4 Tacoma Sport 2016

yup this is a nice lift kit. Once again it won’t allow for any crazy off roading like kings icon or fox but it will do exceptionally well compared to stock.

Thank you so much. I'm getting it done tomorrow and I wanted a fellow Tacoma Owner to share thoughts. I like your rig!
