Knock Sensor Code

    I have a 96' Tacoma. I replaced both knock sensors and the wiring harness for the sensors. The wiring harness is OEM, but the sensors are not. They are Carquest Premium brand. Since this repair, my truck has been throwing a knock sensor code on and off on and off for a year now with no real knocking. I believe it is just an issue with not using OEM parts. It is annoying, but fortunately does not seem to be a real issue.

    Anyone having this same problem or know anything about this?
