I'm looking to upgrade the trailer I use, primarily for firewood collecting and/or bringing extra stuff camping. I recently saw this one for sale locally but someone else snagged it before I got to it. I'd really like something with a bit larger beefier tires and better ground clearance, 5x8 or 6x8. I also found this model, for $3200: https://letsgoaero.com/spec-ops-anyroad-trailer/

Does anyone have any other recommendations? Would it be best to just build my own?

I know this is an old post but curious if you went with the aero trailer? Thinking about it but not a lot of info out there other than their own marketing.

You may want to consider going to govplanet and bidding on a M1101 military trailer. Bids start at $500 for these trailers and they are at bases across the US. You may need to do some homework re: licensing these for street use but it may fit your use case. You'll probably also have to get a pintle with 8 - 10 inches of drop so you can flip it upside down to level the trailer. I believe those trailers are on 37 in tires and have much more clearance than a stock taco so you'll just need to flip the pintle to adjust for the difference in ride height. An option to consider. If I needed a utility trailer this is the way I would go.

Look on the ih8mud site. Lots of trailers for sale and ideas of all kinds. Worth the searching.
