    Hello,

I grew up in the Honda world and the engines all throughout the 90s and early 00's were like Legos. I personally ran a tsx intake manifold on my rsx to increase plenum volume, for example.

Hoping Toyota was much the same and there was another similar year 4cyl out there that has an IM that will bolt up to the 2rz and point the throttle body forward. The only other option I've been able to find is a $1200 aftermarket solution from Australia.

Tldr; I want my throttle body to point towards the rad. Hoping to find an OEM option to achieve it.

I think Paradise racing used to sell an intake log that bolts to the lower intake manifold. But it looks like they've stopped making it, would be pretty easy to make yourself though.

The only other option is the insane one from Plasmaman

Sweet jumpin Jesus. 2k all said and done. I spose that may have been the one I was thinking of. Or theres another one out there for like 1200.

I shot them an email, thanks for the heads up.

I still get the feeling theres likely an oem solution out there but Im not sure where to start on that. Was hoping itd be a common knowledge thing.

I've seen GLfabrication_ on IG make some 2/3rz parts. There really isn't a clean simple way to make a forward facing intake unless you hack up your current manifold, but at that point I'd rather doing something custom. Or some make custom runners to something like a skunk2 manifold. A member on here did that with his 2tr build.

The list of vehicles produced with RZ-series engines is not long: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_RZ_engine

They're all trucks, vans, and SUVs. Unless Toyota used a compatible intake with some other engine platform, those are your options.

Good thought process. Went through them and no dice. They're all over the top. The other options that would be a long shot would include the Passeo, mr2, Camry, previa and Yaris. I wonder what the local parts store would have in stock for gaskets. Probably not much.

    I'll keep digging.
