Hello everyone I have a quick question for you all, I have a draw and I think I found it but I also just wanted to ask some quick questions about the EFI system or fuse. I did some reading and think that the system comes on and draws electricity. Currently it draws about 1.12A, I think I don't like this multimeter that much, its hard to read. Anyways when I unplug the fuse it all goes to zero. So I was wondering if this is normal or is something wrong, thanks for your time.

That meter is set to read AC amps, not DC. Not sure if it can read DC, it’s made more for other tasks.

A decent meter for this stuff doesn’t have to be expensive. $25 can get you some thing with autoranging. Just be careful measuring current - it’s easy to blow the fuse in the meter if you’re not paying attention.

Was wondering that too. I’m not familiar with that meter, but I suspect that the setting for AC amps only utilizes the built in clamp probe, and 1.12 A could be down in the noise for it if it’s meant to measure higher currents.

That says microAmps. Probably gonna fry a fuse doing that.

I'm more familiar with automotive meters, the terminals where the leads attach will designate what is fused and what isn't. That meter looks like it can handle high voltage stuff

I bought a new meter and rechecked everything 1.05 Amps was being drawn. I narrowed it down and after tearing everything apart found I will more than likely need to replace some wires due to corrosion.
