From my research (a few years ago now, memory is a bit foggy) Fox oil is rated to a lower temperature than King oil is. I do not know for sure the exact type of oil that article was referencing.

I have Kings on my truck. Living in Maine we see a few days each year getting down towards -20*F. To be honest I cant really say Ive noticed a huge difference on road. I think tire pressure helps more. The coldest Ive ever wheeled is probably about -10*F. Again cant say I notice a huge difference, but maybe I just get used to it over time as the winter gets colder.

That said, whenever I get around to rebuilding my kings I think Im going to have Fox oil put in instead of King.

    Tuning/ride qualiy may change

    Not something they have listed.

Apparently the bicycle oil is also called PTFE, but not the same as Truck & Off-Road shock oil
