I've got a 2012 4Runner with a P0441 fault code, this code is for "incorrect purge flow".
The purge valve tests good, Ive installed a new OEM gas cap, EVAP system test passes with my scan tool but fault code returns after about 10 miles. I have smoke tested the purge valve hose from the charcoal canister to the purge valve at the intake, no leaks. The other EVAP hoses are interconnected strangely so I cannot close them all off to smoke test correctly but they only leak out the end so I dont think its leaking hose. The charcoal canister has a 7 pin electrical part, I believe this is the EVAP leak test pump which turns on when the EVAP system test is running. I cannot locate the EVAP vent valve/solenoid nor does my scan tool have a option for turning it on/off. I am ready to pull the gas tank to see if it might be there, does anyone here happen to know where toyota put the vent valve or happens to have wiring diagram/hose diagram they can post here.

This system doesn't use a vent valve per se, it doesn't seal the system off like one on a normal EVAP system would.
To seal the system for a smoke test you have to plug the hose coming from the canister to the air filter to atmosphere.
Here's a video overview of how the system works.

This is great thank you very much. Unfortunately the vehicle is gonna need a new charcoal canister.
