Andrew Q and I ran a little bit of it like 2 years ago while out hunting. It was the same weekend a few people died out there from the flash flooding. Was all pretty easy going.

So overall looks pretty easy... Was hoping for a few obstacles, but mostly doable even for 2wd and a locker?
Possibility of camping close and doing the route in a day and camping two night in one spot? I'll look further into it as i plan and can update is anyone wants to join. Ive never driven through there and wanna check it out anyway!

So I'm thinking i'll pre-ride the south side and the north side of Cherry Creek rd and find camp spots to accommodate a few trucks. The idea is light camp the first night, Pack up and get ready to drive the route. Will stop at a spot to hike to some ruins, probably another spot for lunch. Make our way through the route to another camp spot on the other side. Sunday morning breakfast and camp break down, afterwards we can all head bk down the hill home which ever direction you choose. I have no idea what time this will take and how rough it will be. Will have the weekend to make it and im sure it won't be to crazy hard. I just wanna get out and see a new area, so if that sounds cool and you wanna join i'll do some homework and drop some pins for a meet up spot whether in town or outside of Globe.

Open to others to join in Pre-ride and just get the tires dirty. Dates still to be determined :hattip:

There was a spot near an old cattle pen along Cheery Creek we stopped at that might work for a group gathering. IIRC, it wasnt too far from where the ruins (Devils Chasm) are too.. I've wanted to go back since then to hike up in there, so I'm definitely in. Its about a 3mile round trip hike.

I'd also be down to scout it with you.
