Just post that on Instagram. Someone will be around to fill it with ramen noodles. Looks like the 2x4s in there didn’t work out so well.

I get what you're going for but most insurance underwriters suggest do NOT keep insurance card and/or registration in vehicle in case of theft. Your vehicle just got ripped now the thieves have your personal info to boot. Peace and Love.

Thanks. Painted OEM 16X7's. Part# 42601-AD030. Used as spare wheel on Tacoma models with stock 16x7 alloys. Painted with rattle can 1H5 and satin clear coat. Added black lug nuts.

Are you happy with it? I just did mine, still getting used to it, so is the wife. Funny thing is, if I didn’t point it out, I’m not sure she would have ever noticed it .

It seems to work either way. So in my mind the 2 considerations are whether you want the valve stem accessible or protected.

I have mine valve stem down. I hit with some air at least once a year and don't have to drop it.

    Just my preference.

I have a matched spare and keep it face up so the part of the lifter that interfaces with the wheel doesn’t scratch up the visible side. Since it gets rotated out the air is usually fine, but I should probably get some sort of way to air it up on the road

FINALLY installed my lean spacer and ECGS bushing. Serviced the front diff too (27k miles). Took about 2 hours for all of it. NOT bad at all.

Side note: check out that caster

Installed Vleds footwell light kit. Easy install, kinda of expensive, but the components all appear very high quality and the aqua color matches the interior OEM blue color perfectly. Nicely integrated with the interior light system. I may buy the rear footwell kit.

I keep my valve stem up, mostly as a preventative maintenance in the rust belt, having to drop the tire once a year is a good reminder to keep things sprayed down with fluidfilm due to the excessive pa calcium and road salt use.. my 88 rusted fast, and the hoist no longer worked when I needed it Years back.. Never forgot that lesson!

That's great to be able to access the valve stem that way. I wonder if my dealer will flip it around for me when they check the tire pressures?
