Mega thanks to our hometown Big Tony!

Using the link, I got the belmetric hardware for the lower strut. Toyota, get rid of this fucking problem!!! The Bilsteins were already wearing and heading for the infamous click over speed bumps.

The wear wasn’t there when I swapped the coilovers over a week ago(latter photo). But the click was. The click is gone with a new bushing(s) from the coilovers.

    Muchas Gracias hometown!!!!

What length are we talking here? Or, is the bolt thats selected when we click the link exactly what we need? I have got some weird rattle when I hit any bump in the road....Might be my front body mount bushings too.

You have to go back to the linked thread for the diameters and lengths.

The click could be the bolts. A squeak or knock could be the body mounts.

It's not a squeak or knock...its a rattle sound. Almost like a shitty heat shield, but it's not that.

Could be the body mounts as an outside chance?

    Thanks for posting this.

I have completely stock suspension and have had a click for a long time. It seems every time I hit a bump I am getting a click.

Did you just replace the bolts, or should we be replacing the spacers and bearings at the same time?

    You're welcome!

I had the same noises from the stock suspension also. Although, I am not sure what you mean by spacers and bearings? There are none for the coilovers, but I might be understanding incorrectly.

Sorry. I'm definitely a novice. Perhaps I misunderstood which bolts these were replacing. Can I send a PM?

You can, but it is good to keep it here to possibly help others?

These are the bolts at the bottom of the front coilovers where they connect into Lower Control Arm (LCA). You can see the nut on this bolt if you look at the LCA.

The bushing in the coilover is likely just fine.

    Sure thing.

I thought that bolt passed through a spherical bearing, which is what I was referring to. Perhaps it is a bushing instead. Thanks for the clarification!

Oh! There is a spherical bearing on high end shocks like Kings.

Stock and Bilstein 5100s, like mine, have a rubber bushing, but it still seems like these proper bolts help.

Ah, that was why I was confused. Mine is stock so bushing it is! Just to double check with regards to my original question: did you just replace the bolt, or the bushing as well?

    Cool!

You can get bushings, but they are quite a bit more work to swap. Like I said above, your bushing is most likely in great shape. Just that weird shoulder on the bolt is causing the noise.

@tonered Thanks for the below info!!! IDK how I came across it, but I am glad I did!
Do the rear shocks have the same issue?
