Aussie antenna placement

    Watching various video streams on YT (love CEE) and have always wondered why vehicles driven in Australia have the antenna (not sure what type radio) mounted in front? Mostly on a bull bar (roo bar?) or bumper of some type. I'm sure you would get used to it but a little distracting at first. Thanks mate!

    Seems like it’s a lot easier to keep it out of trouble if you can see it.

    And if it’s on the back it may interfere with loading and unloading.


    Mine is on the back and got bent back by a deer the other day, and I’m always working around it when loading up.
