WA Suspension Rebuild?

For anyone looking for resources... this is absolutely a job you can do yourself, shocks with reservoirs are even easier than IFP shocks to rebuild. First find a place that can nitrogen charge them for you since that's the single most expensive part to buy yourself (nitro tank and regulator). Then comes buying the tools to open your specific model of shock and then the rest is just methodically replacing seals. If you have a spring compressor, bench vise, and some picks you can absolutely do this yourself. There are lots of videos on the process and its pretty much the same for all aftermarket 2.0 and 2.5 coilovers and shocks. You can order quality parts for your shocks from shockseals.com way cheaper too.

 

You the man, def will look into doing it myself since I have access to all those things except for the nitrogen charge. Shoot if it is that easy i'd probably help you guys out too!

Outlaw returned my call yesterday and think it was about $4-500 for the fronts if you take them off yourself but they are able to rebuild icon.

 

I followed this write up and did my own. It cost roughly $300 for fronts and backs with reservoirs and converting them to extended travel.

The hardest part was the inner seal. Everything else is easy if you just follow the steps…
