Im a newbie on here but need some help I’ve got a 2000 4wd auto 2.7 single cab with rear major (cancer) rust issues (to much patching if I did do it) so would rather swap frames to a good one and treat it to prevent issues again ...now my question is will a 1995 single cab 4wd manual truck frame work, I might have found one for a good price for sell and just want to be sure...I know the trans-mount bracket will be different (from stick to auto) but that can be fixed, I just want to be sure about the overall rest ....theres got to be some on here that would know off hand for sure (I know the part numbers are different but overall they are the same 95-00 components and rolling chassis right?) but I just want to be sure y’know ...thanks in advance ...
Also: when I start this project I’ll post pics of it all as we go....

You are talking 95.5 Tacoma not a 1995 4x4 Pick up correct ?

There area few minor differences if you fabricate nothing you can not figure out.

Leaf springs are different lengths. front frame ends are different .

The radiator support is different but attaching yours should not be a major problem.

I think a few more will jump in given time.

I think there’s only a difference in transmission mount between the 5 lug trucks and 6 lug. So I don’t expect you’d have a problem with the transmission mount. (I might be wrong). Different engines have different mounting points I think so if the new frame came from a 2.7 it should match yours. If it came from a 3.4 you’d have to move things. All else, I believe the rear spring mounts were closer together on the earlier (pre-99) trucks. You could relocate them if you needed.
