    I've got the Knightrunner! It's fun, super detailed and lots of mods you can do on this truck that are WAAAY cheaper than on my full size truck! :rofl:

    It's called the Enduro Knightrunner. Horizon Hobby has them, along with a few other stores.

    No mention of the 3rd Brake Light recall, no mention of the fuel pump recall. No mention even of that single cylinder valve issue either. My guess is that those complaints were from people who were mad that Toyota wouldn't fix non warranty problems for free.

    Remember, people are always quick to complain, but slow to compliment.

    I was only listing reliability of my current vehicles,

    But I also had a T100 with over 500k miles on the chassis. 340k on the 3.4 and +/-150k on a 4.7 swap.

    The last two I owned had no major problems. I got rid of one after 16 years of ownership with 200K+ miles and another after 6 years and 125K miles. both are still on the road. the fit, finish, and solid feeling were much better than my current tacoma.

    many here say they know someone that has another brand with major failures and the hood is always up. i suppose that could be and is true in some cases but i also suspect some of it is BS.

    i owned an original toyota pickup and we still have an '09 camry in the driveway. in my experience, the tacoma is not as good as it once was and overall, the brand quality has declined somewhat. it'll take some time but i believe in 5-10 years it'll be more accepted the turd gen did not add to the reputation of reliability.

    it's a good truck but, other brands have made improvements. if you can be objective, i think most would agree the difference between brands are not as great as some make them out to be. and, that's a good thing.

    Reverse image search came up with a few different hobby stores with the RC TRD Pro..... $350. If it came in Solar Octane I'd be stacking pennies till I come up with the cash just to sit it on the shelf.

    1st Im 75 yo, and I'm on my 4 or 4th Tacoma in my lifetime!! The only problem Ive had with the Tacoma is that you have to change the oil from time to time:rofl::rofl::rofl: That said: preventative maintenance, "take care of your equipment and your equipment will take care of you".

    Additionally, my children $ grandchildren have Toyota's and Never a problem!

    So to the nasayers, :annoyed::annoyed:

    Damn those parking light LEDs. I absolutely hate when that happens.

    (And what about the other 999,798 owners that it didn't happen to?)
