    LS1 swap with nitros.
I just did this at home a few weeks ago. Replaced the trans filter ($55) and gasket (50) from Toyota and used 5 qts to get the level correct again. I bought a 6 pack of WS off eBay from the local Toyota dealer for $50 as well.

The dongle I have is several years old, but I got it from Amazon so I am sure it's called something else now. That along with OBD Fusion and the Toyota PIDs means you don't have to do anything as far as jumping stuff. Makes it easy to lay under the truck to monitor the temps and be done with it.

I had the dealer drop the pan and new filter at almost 200k mi I'm og owner of my 2017 3.5L . My last 3 services were just drain and fill.

Would love to know the cons of a full fluid exchange (I purposely did not say flush). The best way is to replace all the fluid, but drain and fill is just fine if you start doing it early enough and not wait until you have many miles on it. I have done the full exchange through the cooler lines twice on my 4runner and once on a Camry. With a helper to start and stop the vehicle I can do it in 30 minutes including doing the level check. If I were to do the drain and fill method I would start at 30k miles on the vehicle. I won't argue with those doing the D&F method with more miles as doing any fluid changes is better than most people do and they still have decent luck.

I didn’t think so many serviced it so often.

This odb2 reader does a lot. Trans temp, brake bleed, TPMS programing and a bunch more.

Aha I see the info you mentioned is at the Amazon sale page for the scanner. Cool. Thanks.
