Drove across the country recently and in the process Jack-Knifed a trailer into a ditch and busted a rear bumper on my 2021 Tacoma. I thought I had a handle on what needed to be replaced (Rear Bumper Cover and Rear Bumper Support), but I remembered my wife found this part fairly close to my truck. It was in the middle of an interstate, so there's a chance it isn't mine, but it was on top of the snow so I'm thinking there's a good chance it came from my vehicle. Does anyone have any idea what it would be? Couldn't find any part numbers and I couldn't find any match pieces underneath my undamaged bumper.

It looks like one of those adjustable rubber stops for the hood when it comes down to get it to match the fender level. So if that's what it is, probably not from your Taco.

Could it be from the tralier, perhaps where any opening door, etc would need that stopper?
