Got hit on my 2023 3rd gen TRD off-road DCLB. My alignment is out of wack and shop says I need rear end.. well, they say I need new axles & diff carrier (I am assuming this means I need a whole new rear end?)

They are paying me out ~$3,100 and I was looking to regear to 5.29s given im running a bed rack, steel rear bumper, steel sliders, steel underbody plates, and (soon to come) 35's + kings & deaver leafs. So this seems like a perfect time to take care of the gearing.

Does anyone know if any companies sell these trucks a new rear diff system with 5.29 gears in that same 3k price range?? Or would I have to get an OEM rear housing & just regear it to 5.29's before installing? What's my best route here?

    Thanks all.

Let's see pictures of the truck? Unusual for the axle to be bent in a crash without a ton of surrounding damage to the frame, leaf shackle hangers, etc.

The paper shows they quoted you for a differential carrier and a single axle shaft, but no axle housing. That's very strange. In a crash, you'd expect the axle housing to be bent while the differential carrier and axle shaft would be reusable.

They also quoted you the wrong, non-Off Road differential carrier.

I'll get some pictures in a bit, but yeah, I noticed that all the parts said "w/o off road pkg" and called back the body & alignment shop. now I have to bring it back to them.... they also forgot to add the wheel to the estimate (my wheel has chunks of metal taken out of it as that is where the impact was).... PITA.
