    Hi,
I’m pretty new to this, but I was wondering if anybody knows if the front shocks on Fj Cruiser and 4Runner are the same as a 2nd Gen Tacoma. They’re the FOX 2.5 FACTORY RESERVOIR 0-3″ Extended SHOCKS part #883-02-130. It’s a good deal on them but I’m not sure if they would fit my Tacoma. Does anyone have an idea about the fitment? Thanks

my .02, very risky buying used. cost of rebuild or missing parts can add up quick.

Top hat bolt pattern is the same, they have a 14x600lb spring instead of a 13" x 1600lb spring, they have a different reservoir orientation and mount.

07-09 FJ has a smaller front Shock bottom Mount.

I have installed 3rd gen Tacoma shocks on a 4th gen 4Runner before with no issues. Likely just depends on the mounts for the Reservoirs and their orientations.
