Here are my two … they rule the house!!

 

"Dusty" My friend. He was a present from me to my wife and he was definitely her dog. (he minded her way better than me. lol ) But me and him went hunting every fall and I really believe he never forgot who brought him home from the shelter. We lost him a bunch of years ago, but I don't remember the exact date because he's still "here" with us. RIP: "Good Dog-Dog!"

 

Nice looking pups! You've got the Chocolate (they're wacky/crazy/a little suspicious), (IMHO) the Yellow: "Mello Yellow"/always dignified/low key/aim to please...

All you need now is a Black Lab pup! (serious/focused/celebrity). But when it comes to bringing back the birds: it's all a wash: "Professional" / "Pick a color"

Been thinking about a black one and name him Raven! The two I have are rescues, the Chocolate, Cooper, is the best dog I ever had … able to walk him without a leash even when other dogs are around! Now, my yellow, Sonny, he is one rambunctious, care-free dog but I love him nonetheless! Both great dogs!!

 

So far so good. We survived the 1st 7 days

 

There's a special place in the here-after for folks that bring home a Rescue Dog. Our dog "Dusty" was a rescue. He was running around together with a yellow when the local dog officer got them to jump into her truck locally. Unfortunately the yellow found a new home just before I came along or I would have had my hands full with both rascals: two beautiful Field Labs. (I can't imagine it) My loss!

My son currently has a beautiful fully trained black Field lab. He travels a lot and we get to take care of him. He's two and allmost past the puppy stage. Same thing: he pulls and tests me on the leash. My better half: he walks in no hurry and heels with her with no leash. Go fiigure. They know I'm a softy.... Somehow they just know.

 

KODA is Almost 4 months old already.

Another Brittany! Only thing better than owning one is owning two of them.
