48FB7F39-EF4B-43A5-BC61-67DA82EA6CE7.jpg I’m reaching out to Tacoma World members in the Seattle/Everett area for a recommendation on a repair shop that can repair some damage to my 2007 DCSB PreRunner. My son has the truck currently and is stationed on the Navy base on Whidbey Island. The truck was damaged while he was deployed and I’m not sure how it happened. There is no body damage but the left, front tire is canted in at the top to the point that it’s rubbing on the upper control arm. I’m thinking it might be a bent spindle but can’t tell from looking at a photo. The truck has over 300K miles and is still in good shape so I want to get it fixed. This isn’t an insurance claim so this is an out of pocket cost to repair. I have read good things on this forum about Auburn Off Road but that is quite a trip from the base. Please respond with a recommendation for a shop closer to Everett if you have one. Thanks. The attached photo was sent to my son by a friend which probably explains the word “Bro”.

The truck was damaged while he was deployed. The person he asked to start it occasionally took the liberty of using the truck as well; same person damaged another vehicle as well and has been discharged as a result. So there is no explanation for how it happened. Back to the truck. It has over 300k but has been well maintained. Lower A arm bushings were replaced about 25k miles ago. Truck also has Bilstein 5100’s with 887 coil springs and aftermarket upper control arms all done about the same time. This can’t be attributed to vehicle wear; it was damaged some how but we’ll never get the “real” story.

I'm still looking to get this truck fixed and would welcome a recommendation of a shop in the Everett, Washington area. As I stated earlier, my son is stationed Whidbey Island and it would be great if there was a shop not too far that could accomplish the repair. I've got AAA for the towing, I just need a capable shop to take it too. Any suggestions?I'm almost at the point of shipping it home to Phoenix and fixing it myself.

Did you even bother searching? A quick Google showed me this place: https://www.betteroffroad.com/

Which is ON Whidbey. I'm sure they can swap shocks and replace spindles

Thanks for the quick reply! I sent the info to my son and told him to give them a call tomorrow.
