Any Drummond Island, MI reports ?

We will be in/on Drummond Is this August 2022. While there are many activities there we plan to check out the off road trails. Anyone have any reports/suggestions/hints/warnings ?

We had a good trip. We rented a cabin there on the island and spent the week. There are a number of off-road trails, suitable for a wide variety of your vehicles capability. We managed to make one tank of gas last the entire week on the island. $$ While there are several decent restaurants, there are not enough to go around at meal time, so expect crowds and waits to get in. Playing a round of golf where are you had to cross the runway of an airport to finish your round was interesting.

 

Being in Toledo, OH I have been considering going there. Glad to hear you had a good time.
