So I've had my 2015 for 5 years now and just made my last payment on it last week! Now that money is going to incrementally be used for some much desired upgrades!

About 8 months ago I stepped up in tires to some Micky Thompson Baha Boss 285/75R16 and honestly have loved them. The down side, as I had already expected, I get some rubbing on full over turns. Well, now I was able to order my lift kit!

I've researched and installed lift kits for decades, so I knew what I was looking for, with what I am needing from a lift kit. I'm not exactly planning on running down Devil's Bowl or anything that extreme, so I decided to go with the Ironman Nitro Stage 2 Kit. It comes with a complete leaf pack set, which was a must in my eyes, as well as replacement UCA. I wanted the UCA so that I could dial in a 2.6 or higher caster after the lift is installed.

Next I plan on probably getting a Tom Woods one-piece driveshaft.

Nice! How much lift height are you expecting?

So I got the kit rated for a full 3 inch. Not a front lift rear level, or the other way around. So I should retain the factory ride angle. I'm already running the larger tires and have had to be careful of rub on turns. Once this kit is done, I should be safe on the road from rubbing. Shortly after will be the cab mount chop!

That look on your face when the tracking number says your lift kit has been delivered, then you find out it was just one leaf-pack, and the rest of the parts are coming tomorrow.....
