    I don't think they have a say either way. As long as it passes the state inspection. I had a Nissan Hardbody mini truck when I was younger. It was so slammed the key was taller than the lowest part of the truck. This think was build by me when I was 17, so saying it wasn't built right is an understatement. I got in an accident and when the adjuster came to look at the truck, they just talked about how cool the truck was. Then he totaled it :(. They did give me like $2000 over book value :D. So I'm no sure it's and insurance thing at all. They give the guys who squat their trucks insurance :der:
