This is a turn key overland rig. If you bought it todays all you’d have to do is put your clothes in it and you could roam. I’m even including most of my recovery gear so it’s truly ready to go. This rig can off-road hard but just as easily be a home. I’ve taken it on multiple 30-45 day trips all out of the rig and loved it. Selling because I have a remote job and moving to full time travel life and want a van. This thing has been my baby, I for sure use it but it’s also been cared for. All the regular maintenance, fluid film treatment every winter, etc. Most of the work done by me but will stop at a shop if I’m on the road when I hit an interval.

Camper Set Up

Less than 1 min set up, super easy! I didn’t put the tent poles in the side flaps but you can and you’ll see them propped open in the next picture.

The main front window has three layers: Solid outer canvas (that connects on the exterior to prevent rain getting in), roll away mesh layer, second inner solid canvas layer.

The main tent window is rolled away. It rolls up and has ties that keep it held up. You might notice that you can’t see the fridge in the bed (usually on the right side). I took it out so I had more bed access to haul some stuff recently. All of the cabinets are bolted to the base board (3/4 birch w/ rubberized coating) so it’s very easy to take them out if you need the bed.

The sleeping platform is three parts. One large platform (the foam mattress is sitting on). It swings up on a gas strut. In the front are two smaller blacks which just rest on supports (you can see one in the photo the other is under the mattress so it’s out of the way). When I want to just hang in the camper I take the two small blocks and put it on/under the mattress and move the whole thing out of the way (see photo below). Also note the open windows, plenty of air of there. The side walls a solid flap which is unzipped in this photo, and then a layer of bud mesh. The solid window flaps are just tucked next to the mattress but there is also some clips so if you want it nice and tidy you can roll it and clips it away.

Sometimes I use this set up. It can be nice to just have the blocks out of the way all the time. The sleeping platform is long enough to use this way but your toes might be tight. With the blocks in there is plenty of room to stretch out.

Cool features unrelated to the sleeping system. I’ve added bungees to the inside of the doors and bottom of the platform. Great place to throw clothes, shoes etc. Seems like those loose items always messy up a van/camper so it’s nice to have them up off the ground. You can see my shoes on the left side. Under the sleeping platform I have a big gym/yoga mat. Great for camp to stretch after a hike, spot for dog or kids to sit that’s not the dirt, etc. I’ve also kept thin camp chairs, up there without any effect on raising the sleeping platform.

As you can see plenty of space. Another person (or two can fit) comfortably. You can sit on the bunk cabinet in the back no problem. The lids on that bunk lift off (no hinge). I have eye bolts attached the the bunk cabinet so you can strap down bags to it as well.

This is me standing in the camper with the platform down. The smaller blocks have been removed so this is how you get in the bed. I usually just step up on the side of the bed and jump in.

This shows the camper all zipped up. Also note how the pillows are arranged. You can fit four pillows and sleeping bags in with the roof closed. You just need move the pillows to the center and the sleeping bags to the foot of the bed so the camper canvas has space to fold in. I’ve never had an issue with water. The canvas is super solid so even if the canvas is wet on the outside when you close up the tent your bedding won’t get wet . I advise always closing the inner flaps before packing up, it helps to protect the big mesh from tearing on something.

Here you can see the rear seat delete. Overhead is a blue Ridge Overland attic. I have two jackets stuffed in there but it can fit more. I have anchors and bungees set up to hold stuff against the wall. At the moment there are some blackout window shades (made of reflectix) and a camp chair. The 10 gal water tank is in the foot well . There is access to the two under platform storage compartments as well. On the backs of the seats are Blue Ridge Overland Velcro pouches and a mini trash container.

This is where the water filter for the tank is housed. There is enough space in to keep a few other item. I keep some D-Ring shackles and other small items here.

Electrical Outlet/Control Panel


This panel is on the driver side of the rear seat delete. It has two outlets, a battery monitor, and a kill switch. To the left you can see a button to turn on the water. There is a second control for water in the bed as well with plumbing and outlets in both locations.

This has five mounts. There is a USB behind the dash wired to the house battery (always on) with two charging cables that peak out near the ram mounts for easy charging. The radio is GMRS. It’s wired to the house battery. The box is under the passenger seat but everything can be controlled from the handheld unit on the dash.

Engine Bay with Painted Engine cover and house battery wiring shown. The house battery is controlled by a RedArc BCDC which is housed inside the passenger glove compartment box. Wire go through the firewall so it’s a very short run.
