How’s it going, new Tacoma owner here. This is my first Toyota and so far, I’m very pleased. I picked up a ‘23 Barcelona Red TRD Off Road and it’s awesome! I hope to learn a lot here and help where I can.

Welcome. The AZ chapter is pretty active and has their own forum. Jump on there as well and keep up to speed on local events.

I know a place you can find out how capable it is off-road ... might even run into some cows (no joke!). A road turning south off Agua Calient Rd, turnoff is 5 miles west of old US 80, heading towards Woolsey Peak.

This book also has some good ideas: https://funtreks.com/product/guide-to-arizona-backroads-4-wheel-drive-trails-3rd-edition/

This mapbook from REI also shows many "roads" that are "less than paved": https://www.benchmarkmaps.com/product/arizona-road-recreation-atlas

If you want ideas how to modify the truck, you will have to go somewhere else ... sorry
