This probably isn’t too helpful but can you post a pic of the battery in the truck and what the wiring looks like? I’m just curious based on your posts. Also did you get the codes pulled yet? That’s definitely the first step. I wouldn’t mess with anything more until I did that.

So I’ve pulled the codes and it gave about 12 codes instantly all saying something about the mass airflow sensor. And after doing research all the problems I’ve had are the exact same. So going to clean it or buy a new one today

    What code numbers?
    Is it plugged in:anonymous:
If it is some testing should be done before fireing the parts cannon.

It stated these codes over and over again to make it look like more. But the new mass airflow sensor I bought doesn’t seem to connect right with the plug on the truck. So now I’m going to try to clean the old one and see if it fixes it.

Check your EFI fuse (10A) in the underhood fuse box, I'd be willing to bet its blown or not getting power.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
lesson for the ones down the road pulling the parts trigger prior to checking basic stuff and strategy based diagnostics. Chill before you start throwing parts under the hood.

Ok see if you have power on Pin 1 (Blue/White) at the MAF sensor and Pin 5 (Blue/White) at the Air Injection Control Driver Module with the key on.
Remember not to shove the meter leads into the terminals.

    Yeah.
Usually fuse taps split power off in parallel so the devices are on different fuses.

I personally would not be tapping into that fuse for anything, but that's me.

I'd disconnect / unplug everything aftermarket. Then, after the CEL is resolved, I'd strongly consider buying a separate fuse block for reconnecting the toys. Keep them separate from the core systems.

Oh, and PS. Id still inspect and verify the actual fuse, as Dm93 suggests.

Depending on how you tapped into it, you may have a blown fuse and still have power to the DRL's. Did you use an Add-a-Fuse?

So I forgot to follow up on this post after I fixed my truck and went on my trip. But the problem was my Mass Air Flow sensor was very dirty and when I changed my battery it reset my computer and made it process that I had a dirty MAF sensor. Once I cleaned it all of my problems went away and it ran great again
