Chris brought his 21 by and we put him on 9.0-Normal. Great talking with him and checking out the truck. Always cool to see everyone’s different builds. The tune always ends up being one of everyone’s favorite upgrades! Can’t beat an improvement that you can feel whenever you’re driving it!

 

Dave stopped by this weekend for the 9.0-Normal tune. Beautiful 19 SX and a super cool dude. Always fun to talk fishing and get to know people with similar interests. It’s a great community of awesome people around here! And continues to get bigger

 

Jeremy and Kelly stopped by yesterday with their 2020 Sport, put them on 9.0-Normal. Great getting to know them, absolutely awesome people!

 

Did they change the inspection sticker location from right in the dang middle of the top of the windshield finally? Looks like it from this last pic. Having those big stickers right smack dab in the center of the windshield used to bug the crap out of me lol.

 

Yeah they’re down in the drivers corner now. It does suck not having them up behind the rear view mirror now!

 

New location is way more annoying.

Just wanted to check back in after 2 weeks driving on the 9.0 KDmaxx normal tune. Truck drives the way it should. Smoother shifting and slightly better mileage. Seems counter intuitive, but holding gears longer on uphills has actually helped mileage. At shift points, mpg drops significantly, but as the rpms go up the mileage gets better. FWIW, I am driving hilly backroads for the most part.
Jesse is a great guy to work with and I recommend him with out hesitation. Like others have said, it is a game changer and I wish I had done this sooner to my Tacoma.

Holding the rpms definitely helps MPGs. The sweet spot is 2000-2500---gives you power, torque, and good MPG's.
