Hey i am trying to troubleshoot an issue and wanted to describe it to see if people had an idea of whats going on.

Over the last few weeks i have noticed what i would describe as slippage, primarily in 4th gear. If i accelerate slowly i had no issues, however if i punched the gas it would rev to about 3.5k rpm then eventually "kick in". Started to think it was the transmission.

So over the weekend on the way back from a viking festival, lol, when i got on the interstate and in 5th, i started to smell a burning rubber like smell. Noticed the slippage for a few seconds but then it was fine. when i got off the interstate i couldnt shift anymore, like the clutch wasnt engaging. I was able to turn the truck off, shift into the correct gear and go, however i couldnt shift after that without forcing it into a gear. When in a gear that truck runs fine but i cant shift without acting like im 14 and forgot to press the clutch.

So looking for ideas. Master cylinder levels are good.
