Your last vehicle was a '98, sounds like you keep things for a while to get your money's worth. I'm the same way, I'm in for the long haul with mine.

My two cents: stock is the only look that ages well!

Ten years from now you might wish you didn't have all that aftermarket crap and potentially spend money reverting it. Or you'll have stored the original stuff for years, taking up space in your house, eh. Too many cons for something that really doesn't matter (to me).

Ask yourself this: if you never found this website, or the internet in general, would you have a problem with your truck?

Thanks for the feedback. Yes only I know my taste, but I get a lot of good ideas on here (as well as some not so good ideas). I just thought it would be an interesting thread to get peoples thoughts.

I am in it for the long haul and will probably slowly mod things over several years. Just looking for ideas so I don’t get halfway into it and wish I’d gone another direction. I prioritize functional mods vs aesthetic but will still do a little of the latter just for kicks. Not worried about resale, I plan to drive this until my kids take my keys away.
