Anyone get the eBay plug & play switchback turn signal kit to work?

    I bought this kit and it seemed straightforward to install. I wasn't quite sure what would trigger the white light to come on since the stock socket has 2 wires. In any case, I tested it out and only the dynamic amber turn signals work. The white lights that should come on with the parking light is not working- but how can it without a parking light trigger wire from the front corner lamp? Thought I'd ask this group for their input (besides- do the proper 1157 wiring/socket mod with a switchback LED). Thanks!

    eBay vendor messaged me back and told me to cut the white wire into the aftermarket wiring and tap it into the corner parking (positive) light for it to work as expected... so NOT plug and play, but should be doable to make it work using wire taps to bring the wire down from the corner lights to the turn signal sockets.

    I did this mod but with the existing turn signals. All i did was buy some switch back bulds on Amazon

    then i just spliced into the corner light for running light and done. Super easy

    Thanks Toyoda213! I would have probably went this route if I knew that the eBay turn signal lamps were NOT plug and play. Since I have to splice to make the white DRLs turn on- it is basically doing the same work you mentioned above. Live and learn...

    Yea im not sure what they listed it as plug and play. I guess if your turn signals were damage it was worth getting the ebay ones
