He had enough integrity to tell the police that "there was a red car I did not notice when trying to change lanes" (that was my Corolla) and admitted driving badly after that. My video just confirmed that I was not swerving and he buzzed past.

Without the 3rd gen section being the way it is, this site would have no traffic. So to everyone, you’re welcome.

Someone wants to decapitate their Tacoma. Until now it was just a video I stored a year ago and never had much reason to revisit. And out of some basic human respect it never seemed right to post for the world in open mockery of the driver.

You are in Arizona ... you know that the moon dust is bad enough on foot. Hit a 6 in deep ditch of pure moon dust at 75-80 MPH and nothing will hold traction.

Yes. I parked on the freeway berm, called 911. Several on the parallel road (not the freeway itself) had stopped as well. When it was clear that 8 others could serve in my stead as easily, I returned to my car to get it off the freeway. The others said they had seen enough of the accident to speak to what happened. I forget I have the dashcam so it never occurred to me my testimony would be of extra help (I was minimum 500 ft back and he was a red dot essentially). Only after a couple of miles it occurred to me my dashcam might have useful information so I worked my way back, and even then had to view it on a computer and zoom it to know it had sufficient detail to help.

Surprisingly so. He was groggy and stunned, but awake. Walking up I first saw the passenger side (hit the ditch, move across freeway at 90 degrees, flipped-backwards/rolled at the sign and landed facing opposite initial travel direction) and saw a crushed cab. Turns out the driver side was mostly intact though.
