Ive got a 2020 DCLB with the OOB exhaust on it. The wife and I are going to be taking more off-grid adventures and rock crawling adventures with it, and part of that upgrade process will be the exhaust.
I have the current OOB exhaust with a black TRD tip and of course thought about the exhaust chop, just leaving a small bit by the axle and eliminating the whole bit sticking out under the P quarter panel.
However, with some unexpected inheritance money, Id like to chop the exhaust off right after the stock muffler, welding on a new hanger and then putt on a side body exhaust dump.

That leads me to my question (s)........
I would love having stainless for the application so it wouldn't rust, but hate that most of the SS side exhaust kits come super shiny and chrome like.

    - How hot would the exhaust tip get on a 3rd Gen DCLB if it was coming right off the stock muffler and dumping out the space in front of the pass rear tire?
    - Would I be Ok powder coating it, or would I have to do a ceramic Jet-Hot type of coating?
(Not going to spray rattle-can VHT or anything like that myself)

Thanks in advance for your help
