I'm looking to get one to help keep stuff in my bed dry. I have a canopy but still get a little water in the bed. The mat should help with keeping my stuff dry

The mat is itself waterproof, but it depending on where you have water infiltrating your canopy you may see the water pool on top of the mat w/ your stuff.

I think I may be the only one who doesn't want a bedmat in my Tacoma. I slide things in and out all the time. It would be such a huge PITA to have to lift and place large heavy items. If I don't want something to slide around, I just tie it down.

For me, the bed mat is less about things sliding around and more about not wanting to test the dent resistance of the composite bed if I happen to drop something with a sharp edge.

Got one of these… sits right in that cut out above the bed storage compartments on both sides. Makes a “trunk” if you will out of the space between it and the tailgate and you can move it to adjust the space as needed. Does the job and goes on sale for $20 on occasion.
