Nyone able to tune my 22 Taco near Indy or Cincy?

 

No, but we do routinely distribute our tunes bundled with flash kits along with our helpful tune guide.

 

OK, I have been sorting through the VF website and it is honestly difficult for me to understand what EXACTLY I need to flash ONE truck. It appears that I would need the VF tuner(cables and software)-$399 PLUS the $300 tune. And the time I need to spend to figure it all out. I hate the idea of spending $400 for the hardware that I will never use again. All I need is for my Taco to shift better.

 

Hey @tonered I want to get a tune on my 2019 AT. Let me know what works, I'm on the east side and generally have a pretty open schedule.

My truck is a work in progress, and at the moment, I've got VCS warning lights on the dash and no traction control, would I need to get fixed before I could put a tune on? I've got 5.29s and it needs a tune bad but I'm slowly working through all the things I keep breaking

 

My sincere apologies. I stopped getting notifications for this thread. Not cool!

IMO, it is worth having the HW. It is where we all started in the OV Tune days when there was no editing or file sharing. That said, there is always the option to meet up and have the tunes flashed for you. Getting the shifting sorted and some customizations done really improves the Taco experience.

Just came back to brag on Tony, would definitely recommend @tonered for folks looking for a tune, super good guy, very knowledgeable, and shows up and does what he says he's gonna do! Feels like a brand new transmission, I can't believe the difference, wish I had called him months ago!

EDIT: And all my warning lights are still gone to boot!
