I keep expecting someone to hit me with "bro, do you even weld?". It's true, I've only MIG'ed once in the last 2 months. I'll take the hit like a man. :anonymous:

I think I have OCD, Obsessive Cutting Disorder. I can't resist this CNC table. I cut three of these and 8 "FBomb" bottle openers this afternoon.

Aaaand I bought one from Home depot.... I can't find many negatives on this machine, from YouTube, Amazon reviews, welding forums, this place. I even added an extra 3 year service plan on top for the blistering deal of $1100 total... Now to get to work and make it pay for its self within a few months...

Welded some TC spindle gussets, does that count?

Also made some RR mounting brackets because I didn’t want to pay $100 for new ones. Kind of a happy accident that the dimpled hole lined up with the access hole in the frame.

Thanks Ryan. Haven’t been welding a whole bunch lately but feels good to make things when I do.

I have that unit. I had no idea Home Depot was marketing PW now. I see the Cut60 plasma cutter is $699 on HD site. That's still a great deal because I paid $650 about 3 yrs ago.

225X comes std with 3 yr, so the extra 3 yrs brings your warranty total to 6yrs? If so, that's amazing because from what I've seen they are very liberal with replacing the machines with even a hint of a problem.

I haven't really got good at TIG. Not the machine's fault. I've probably used the stick more than the TIG. It's so smooth.

Little Project I been working on... A small heat Treating oven.

First version ended up, "going to live on the farm" after it broke and caused a cut eyeball from a fragment of brick.

the metal frame was a :censored::censored: to get in place around the brick but it should be a very long time IF ever that it needs to come apart. the elements can be installed with the top on and they are the most likely to need replacement in a few years depending in how much it gets used.

7"x7"x18" and comes in right around 8200 watts. 34amps @240v an the brick is rated for 2700F

I still need to build the door, and wire the PID controller up

How much does that thing weigh, and are you going to build a stand for it?

I have a friend who loves Harleys. He has three. He bought my last one.

He and his super intelligent wife home school their 3 kids. Ages 5-14.

I cut these this evening to give to his wife and tell her this is for art class: bobber tanks 101. Their Dad will love the results!

I painted two of the bobber style tanks (for myself, not the kids) and got started making a sign for a friend who is about to retire. He and his wife like to drink beer and have a bar setup in their basement. I am going to 3D it and add LEDs. The basic design was someone else's but I added some things for them.
