Ok, Wyalusing people -

I might reserve a room at Potosi for Saturday night, the 15th. With the size of our party, they would like us to let them know what we're going to eat ahead of time. If everyone is cool with it, we can all just check the menu ahead of time, and I can send them a list.

I'd like to know if everyone is definitely interested in going to Potosi for dinner Saturday, or if we prefer to go back to camp for dinner, and get bonfires and BS started earlier.

Edit: side note, the room I'm looking at reserving has a $100 fee, which we can split up.

 

Voted for back to camp. As much as I would like to eat at Potosi, that could turn into a 2+ hour meal with the size of the group. Also, Old Fashioneds are cheaper at camp! I'd rather chip in for those than a banquet room.

Not quite the Moab trip I had in mind. Got the rear locker though-I Moab by the mechanic recommended by Trailmater (thanks Stoney ranger). A big shout out to Rocky Mountain 4x4.

If the trend continues like this, I might look into reserving the shelter we've been using the last few years.

I'll be there with your wheels! Sorry to hear about the wreckage, but it makes for a good story.

 

I might book it this weekend. Even if we went to Potosi, it would be cool to have it reserved, so we wouldn't have to worry about someone else being in there. Both days would only be $90 total.

 

I could go either way, but I also realize that the size of the group could be problematic.

 

$5 a head. I don't see why not. Definitely agree the logistics of a 20 person dinner can get hectic. Might just do a Sunday check in at Potosi, but only because it'll be my first time there. Even after drinking their beer all these years, I just haven't made it out there yet

 

So, how long did that put you out of commission?

 

Truck broke on Monday after we tried for the Top of the World trail. Got it back this afternoon. New locker installed

 

Depending on how the hiking goes on Sunday morning, I might stop for lunch on the way home.
