I just completed this job and it works great. And I bought cheap. Most difficult that took a lot of research to find was brake hose not a perfect fit but a little filing to lower new bracket and it works fine. Definitely worth doing if you are in need of new calibers rotors brake pads

This page has a great step-by-step guide (with pics) on the upgrade, as well as links to all the parts needed (at varying price points). OEM is best for the pads, but for the calipers you shouldn't pay the premium. Get them from your local parts store (ideally) or Amazon, which will give a lifetime warranty in case you ever need to replace them. And don't forget the upgraded lines, they make a big difference with the larger calipers.

Napa calipers have been the best so far in my experience. The eclipse I think they are painted black.

I went with Napa calipers first, they both froze a year and a half later, Napa warranty up after a year, shit outa luck. I went to Autozone after, lifetime warranty, I’m on my third pair, though last 2 have been 231mm (13WL) calipers from later first gen Tundras vs 199mm (S13WE) from early Tundras. Did notice a difference, 231’s definitely better braking and haven’t seemed to freeze up as often.

Don’t know why they froze up so often, I completely flush brake fluid every 30k as recommended with a brand new unsealed bottle of synthetic dot 3. I pretty much look at the new calipers as preventative maintenance.

My original calipers were shot. Being on a super low budget I bought set rotors and calipers on ebay 13wl

When I did the brake upgrade I found some 13wl’s at a junkyard and rebuilt them myself with OEM parts. All good for about 4 years now
