I've had a consistent squeaking and a small lurch while braking from what I thought were warped rotors, however I just swapped both my rotors and my brake pads and the squeaking is still there. I checked my wheel bearings and it looks like just my front left wheel bearing is making a very slight noise but doesn't seem like it's the source of the squeaking as it's only apparent while braking. My next thought is to look into replacing the brake drums however the squeaking is coming from the front. I feel like it's a dual failure in the brake drums and the wheel bearings. Just wanted to check with y'all and see if anyone who has more years on this chassis might have some better ideas. Appreciate the response.

After replacing the pads & rotors was there any change in the noise? It’s not totally uncommon for new rotors to be warped. I had 1 so bad it couldn’t be cut true without going beyond minimum.

Something you could try. Get the front end up on jack stands. Give the tires a tug, top to bottom in and out, left to right back and forth. There should be no clanking.

Spin the tire while someone else gently gradually pushes the brake pedal. Try to figure out which side the noise is coming from. Then pull that tire. Put a couple lug nuts against the rotor. Give it a spin. Ideally use a dial gauge to see if it’s warped. I don’t have one, so I used a sharpie held against a wooden block so the tip is barely not touching. Push the sharpie tip closer while spinning the rotor until it does touch. That’ll give you an idea if it is warped and how bad.

Mine does this too. No lurch but the brakes squeak despite having fairly new pads. Brakes fine just squeaky

Wheel bearings can do funny things. Mine made a different noise when breaking due to the different loads put on them during breaking.

Also, does yours have a driveshaft carrier bearing? Mine went out a few years ago and it was making a rather obnoxious squeaking noise.

Get your wife to drive it while you listen from the outside to try and narrow down the location of the noise.

The rotor might be rubbing against the dust shield.

Brake dust shields can be a PITA - they can get tweaked by debris or impact, or eaten up the right way by rust and only catch under the right conditions. Get a good look at yours and see of that might be the case.

My driver's side rattles in a really narrow RPM range at idle or park - getting ready to replace them when it warms up.
