Jdm 2.7 differences . Is this normal?

    99 pre runner with the 2.7. I purchased a Jdm motor but the oil pan sump is different (back vs front) and the intake is a 1 piece vs the 2 piece currently on my truck. Is that normal?

    I thought about that. The pre runner pan I have has a really deep front sump…

    You could transfer it as long as you transfer the pick up neck as well. Leaving it will be fine, it just has clearance for the front diff.

    As for manifolds I always recommend using the factory manifolds intake and exhaust.

    Neeeeeeever use a junkyard harness.
