Hey there, fairly new member here. I've tried to search a little bit here so I apologize if I'm beating a dead horse.

I have a 2013 double cab on 35s that I'm regearing here soon. I've had a prerunner previously that I have installed the 3rd member with 4:56 from ECGS. So I'm familiar and comfortable with the rear but I'm curious if there's a write up or if anyone has some tips for the front so I have an idea before I get started. Appreciate any info & help! 20230401_163252.jpg

Front is super easy, get the cv axle nut socket 34 or 35 I forget. Pop a prybar between the cv and front clamshell to pop them out, they have a lip on the cv so you can smack it with a hammer and chisel to get the clip loose. 3 bolts and the driveshaft and it tilts out at an awkward angle but its not bad. Also the seal on the passenger side only goes in 1/8" not 1/4, trust me it will leak as I did it 3 times.

Also 4.88s are the sweet spot with auto and 35s

Appreciate the information! Any certain advice for the stub shaft or the housing piece on the passenger side between the clamshell and the axle or is it pretty straight forward?

They are an E12 or E14. Go buy the sockets ahead of time. External torx, 4 bolts they pop out easy
