kdmax tune

    anyone running a throttle enhancer with a kdmax tune ?

    YotaWerx Blackhawk 2.0 tuned. Typer Auto tail light guards. Rough Country tri-fold tonneau cover. Start-X remote starter. Injen CAI. MBPR Armor Plus high clearance exhaust.
    I just completed the KDMax tune on my truck, and I absolutely love it. I would say there is no need for throttle enhancer with the tune, and my research suggests it can actually detrimental. It can cause an over-voltage issue in the ECU that can put the truck in "limp home" mode, from what I found. The KDMax Pro tune offers several options for throttle tip-in and I expect you will find one of them more than adequate to make the acceleration and throttle response more linear.

    That's my 2 cents, for what it's worth!

    Not recommended with tune. If wanting more throttle enhancement ask tuner for custom throttle settings. Welcome

    thanx guys, just had tune done last week. still have enhancer on the truck but it is not on. i ll remove it. with ECT button on it kicks butt
