I have a 2001 Tacoma. I recently noticed the truck leans to the front driver side. (Lower on front driver side) it’s atleast an inch difference from the passenger side. At first I thought it was where I was parked but parked a couple of other places to be sure. Any ideas??? Ball joints are tight. Control arm bushings are about gone on that side but I couldn’t see it causing the truck to sag like that? TIA

You must not know about the mean Taco lean.

Think about where your fuel tank is located and you'll have the answer

It's normal for our trucks, especially if they're lifted. Gas tank is on that side, battery, driver, etc. Mine has a pretty good lean as it sits right now too. I'm replacing my leaf springs and made sure to order the correct left/right side springs that are made to counter the lean. The driver's side spring has something like 5/8" more arch in it I believe. As for the front some people add small (1/4"-1/2") strut top spacers to bring that side up a bit more.

Makes sense, but is an inch or more normal?

Very well can be. Mine is currently about 1.5" off in the back and 1" in the front. If the suspension is worn out it only makes it worse as well. Take a look at the lower strut bushing where it attaches to your LCA. Over time they will start to compress and the metal bushing inside the rubber will end up being off-center.
