Wow! The hype is real! The difference is night and day. The acceleration curve is so much better. Throttle response is fantastic. And the ability to maintain speed when climbing a hill is priceless!

Huge shout out to Chris LeBlanc (@wahoobie) of Toyota Tuning, LLC for his patient, professional help with my remote tune kit. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

My next tune is a Tundra, no amount of tinkering can correct this.

Those twins turbos with our v6 thrown in the tundra in my opinion is pathetic. The tundra weighs how much more than a Tacoma . Let's see Google , ahhh 5k to 5,800 lbs tundra . So you think twin turbos and slapping a lift and 35" is making a tundra be more of a truck than a Tacoma bullshit . I rather keep my pumped up Tacoma and know for a fact I've smoked most new tundras . Look on tundra owners faces are priceless . I'm lifted 35", 5400lbs , stock gearing and I still pull on new tundras . You sir are just a newb . I hope I lit a fire under your you know what.

Man some of you are funny…
Yeah I knew I’d kick up a bit of shit with that comment, it was out of my own frustrations.
Yes I’ve tried a tune, two actually. Marginal difference at best. This is Taco #6 for me, I figured I could make it work, I was wrong.
Do I think a Tundra is the answer? Sadly no, I have the same concerns that hillbilly (or whoever) said previously.
I love my Toyotas, just not this one.
    “Newb” out.

I'm new to the forum and still figuring out the layout. You condesention is neither appreciated nor needed. If instead you wish to educate new members about the forum layout, you could try directing users to the pre-existing thread. I'm always open to constructive critism, but being rude is never likely to be received well, nor does it help improve the community.

You could have just moved on but no you decided to visit a post called "KDMax Pro 9.0 tune done!". You read it, at least to some degree, then felt some need to listen to your inner voice that said "oh yeah, well I'll show you new guy" for sharing his positive experience on TacomaWorld. It's a shame really, you could have just left it alone and not been a donk.

Posts like this is why I personally don't post much here. Life is too short to deal with this type of nonsense.

Things should quiet down nicely next year when the fire jumps to the gen4 dumpster.
