Lights don't come on when driver door is opened

Does anyone know how to fix this, the light that is supposed to come on when the doors are opened only comes on when the passenger door is opened, not the driver door.

 

Check the wires going to the switch at the front of the door opening.

The overhead light has a switch check to see if it is the right position

 

I noticed that, it is on the door setting. It works when I open the passenger door just not the driver side. If anyone knows of a video or thread that explains how to get to the switch in the door and the wiring to it I'm pretty sure thats what it is.
