Loud pop sound

    Hey guys, after start, I have a loud pop sound at or around the gas tank that started last few days ago. It only pops once and only on start up. Any ideas?

    No sir, not a backfire. The sound is similar to knocking loudly on your car dash or door with your knuckle.

    Exhaust pipe connections loose or broken? Any missing hardware? Grab the pipe and move it around on the hangers, see if you can reproduce the noise

    Check your mounting brackets for your bedsides. My passenger side bracket is missing a bolt so it pops over bumps and turns. I need to fix it soon.
